We provide helpful guides, and our support team is always available if you have questions, however most users find the system logical and easy to navigate right from day one.

Q. Is there a limit to how many documents or deal files I can store?

A. No limits whatsoever. You can store as many documents and deal files as needed for your peace of mind. We want to help your dealership stay compliant without the cost and hassle of paper storage.

Q. Uploading Documents - How can I upload my documents to the system?

A. You can upload documents in several easy ways: select a file, drag and drop, copy and paste, or take a photo using a mobile or tablet.
For developers, our API enables direct uploads from your internal systems.
We are also working on a mobile app and integrations with popular cloud storage platforms like Dropbox and OneDrive — coming soon!

Q. What about GDPR? Is Auto eDocs compliant?

A. Yes, we are fully GDPR compliant. Sensitive document types such as driving licences and utility bills, are automatically flagged and securely deleted after a configurable retention period, helping you manage personal data responsibly.

Q. We operate multiple dealerships under one group. Can you support that?

A. Absolutely. Auto eDocs supports dealer groups with multiple sites. You can configure your group structure directly in the system, or we’re happy to assist.
Billing is site specific, and if a location hosts multiple franchises, each is billed separately for transparency and flexibility.

Q. What happens if we decide to cancel? Can we retrieve our documents?

A. While we’d hate to see you go, we’ll make the offboarding process simple and secure. We'll export your documents in a suitable format and ensure all your data is fully removed from our system to protect your business and customers.
