01

Check the vehicle you expect

Compare the make, colour, fuel type and year of manufacture returned by DVLA with the vehicle and paperwork in front of you. This gives your team a useful cross-check when preparing the deal or discussing it with the customer.

  • Keep vehicle details alongside the customer and deal documents
  • Spot a registration or vehicle-detail mismatch for further investigation
  • View additional details such as first registration and the last V5C issue date, where supplied

02

See tax and MOT information in context

View tax status, tax due date, MOT status and MOT expiry date where DVLA supplies them. The panel shows when the information was last checked, with clear status and date indicators to help your team identify what needs attention.

03

Keep a record of checks

Refresh the vehicle details when needed and review previous checks from the Deal File. The saved result and its check time give colleagues a shared reference when reviewing the vehicle information.

  • See the last-check time beside the vehicle details
  • Review previous results without leaving the Deal File
  • Treat each result as information at the time of the check

04

Make MOT dates useful for customer follow-up

The saved MOT expiry date can support configured workflow tasks or email reminders from 0 to 12 weeks before expiry. This gives dealers an opportunity to offer timely service follow-up. Delivering MOT reminders through the Customer Portal is a potential future extension.
